ABOUT

DA Japan is the representative office of the Philippine Department of Agriculture in Japan. It is supported by two full time staff.

DA Japan seeks to promote trade and investment in agriculture, agribusiness and agro-industrial field.  It serves as the resource and assistance center for Philippine and Japanese doing business in agricultural production, marketing and promotion of food and drinks.  It links buyers and sellers to the global food value chain in which the Philippines strives to position itself as a major player using innovative and smart digital technology.

DA Japan taps technology, knowledge and expertise that support efficiency in production and commodity value adding while boosting income of farmers and fishers. It promotes ecosystem development that nurtures incubation, agripreneurship, innovators, start-ups and commercialization of mature technologies towards a sustainable and inclusive agricultural development.  It liaises with different government agencies and ministries, SUCs, LGUs, research institutions, civil society and other stakeholders to spur rural development.
