Agriculture Undersecretary for Agribusiness and Marketing Bernadette Romulo-Puyat tries the fried itik and salted egg from Candaba at the TienDA Farmers and Fishers Outlet inside the compound of the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) in Quezon City. The Department of Agriculture has earlier announced that it is safe to eat chicken, duck meat and even eggs as long as it is properly prepared and cooked. The ATI TienDA will be selling agri produce directly from the food producers at farm prices and is open to the public until tomorrow. From August 18-20, a TienDA outlet will open at the Planas Garden of the Quezon Memorial Circle. (Photo by Alarico Nuestro/DA-AFID)
