Agriculture Secretary Manny F. Piñol, leads the groundbreaking ceremony for the establishment of the provincial satellite office of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) at the compound of the Itbayat Agricultural High School in Itbayat, Batanes on May 8, 2018. The satellite office will serve as the center for the delivery of services relative to the sustainable development of the fisheries sector of the province, including the conservation and protection of the marine resources. It will also serve as training center for all fish technologies and other related services in Itbayat. Joining Piñol are Batanes Vice Governor Ronald Aguto, Undersecretary for Fisheries Eduardo B.
