Agriculture Secretary Manny F. Piñol, together with Regional Director Remelyn R. Recoter and Passi City Mayor Jesry T. Palmares, lead the awarding of 11 units of pump engines to be distributed to the farmers of Passi, Iloilo on September 8, 2017.  In addition, the farmers also received P10 million worth of financing credit under the Production and Loan Easy Access (PLEA) credit program managed by the Agricultural Credit Policy Council. During the simple ceremony, Piñol committed to provide the local farmers a grain processing center and a feed mill. He also announced that he will push for the intensification of the dairy and sugarcane industries of the city. ### (Photo by Alan Jay Jacalan/DA-AFID)
