Following his earlier visit to the Department of Agriculture (DA), expressing the intention of the Mexican government to export beef and pork, berries, citrus, avocado, tomatoes and broccoli, Mexican Ambassador to the Philippines H.E. Julio Camarena Villaseñor came back on March 14, 2017 to personally thank Secretary Emmanuel F. Piñol for his initiatives in addressing important trade issues between the two countries. Ambassador Villaseñor vowed to maintain the harmonious relationship between Mexico and Philippines especially since their agricultural trade history dates back to the era of the Galleon trade in the 16th century. (Photo by Alarico C.
