Agriculture Secretary Manny Piñol urged the participants of the Mango Stakeholders’ Forum held in Mandaue City, Cebu to participate in discussions that seek to provide valued information for the crafting of the “Five- year roadmap for Philippine Mango Development”. According to the agri chief, “We have forgotten that mango is a part of our history. We have the best mangoes in the world yet we are taking it for granted.” Piñol hopes that the congress, which is on its third leg, gather all the pieces needed to revive the former glory of Philippine Mango. Piñol also encouraged all the participants to pour in all their ideas and inputs to enable a brighter future for the Philippine Mango industry. ### (Carlos Cezar Baldosa, DA-AFID)
