I saw this video posted on Facebook today and it appears to be a culling operation in a hog farm in Vietnam.
Some say this happened in Cambodia.
Reports say Vietnam Animal Health Authorities have ordered the killing of 1.7-M hogs because of the deadly African Swine Fever.
Let us not allow the disease to enter our country because it could decimate our hog industry.
Not only will our farmers suffer financially, the disease could threaten our food security.
Nananawagan po kami sa mga byahero na hwag magpapasok ng karne ng baboy galing sa mga bansa na apektado ng ASF lalo na China, Vietnam, Cambodia at mga karatig bansa ganoon din galing sa Europa.
Sa mga Pilipinong umuuwi, pakibantayan po ninyo anh mga kapwa nyo pasahero at isumbong sa Quarantine o Customs Officers sa airport kung meron kayong makita.
