Ilonggo farmers show the indemnity checks released to them by the Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation of the Department of Agriculture (DA) during the distribution of farm machineries and equipment held at the WESVIARC compound in Iloilo on July 25, 2018. Agriculture Secretary Manny Piñol led the distribution of checks which totals to P1.14 million which forms part of the protection program of DA to farmers and fishers affected by calamities and other natural incidents.
