Department of Agriculture Secretary Manny F. Piñol awards to Iloilo Governor Arthur Defensor Sr. P102 million-worth of agri-fishery implements during the Secretary’s visit in WESVIARC, which completes his four-leg Biyaheng Bukid in the Panay Islands. In his message, Piñol said that he will maximize the full potential of IloIlo for rice production. While in Iloilo, the Secretary also turned-over the Research and Development Center for Organic Agriculture building, which aims to boost and improve organic produce in the region.
