Agriculture Secretary Francisco P. Tiu Laurel, Jr. led the send-off of 23 young farmers leaving for Japan under the Agricultural Training Institute’s Young Filipino Farm Leaders Training Program.

The program aims to introduce them to new technologies and practices that they will bring back to help modernize Philippine agriculture.

The training program is part of the Department’s continuing commitment to advance the skills of  young farmers and showcase their abilities, values, and competencies in the international arena. ### (photos by Jay Morales, DA-OSEC)
