The Department of Agriculture officially kicked-off the Women’s Month celebration on March 4, 2024.
The celebration, with the sub-theme: “Lipunang Patas sa Bagong Pilipinas, Kakayahan ng Kababaihan, Patutunayan”, aims to give honor to the talents and contributions of women in the development of the Philippine society, and highlight their value in forging a better world.
Highlighting the event is the opening of the Women’s Month Exhibit featuring the outstanding women who played part in the improvement of agri-fishery sector, increase in rural income, and food security. ### (photos by Adonis Buhayan, DA-AFID/Jay Morales, DA-OSEC)
