
Agriculture Secretary Francisco P. Tiu Laurel Jr. and Cambodian Minister for Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries Dith Tina held a bilateral meeting at the Department of Agriculture, Office of the Secretary on February 10, 2025, to discuss avenues for strengthening agricultural cooperation between the Philippines and Cambodia. The meeting centered on the opportunities to enhance trade in rice, vegetables, and meat.
These discussions culminated in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Agricultural and Agribusiness Cooperation on February 11, witnessed by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet at the Malacañan Palace.
