Officials from the Department of Agriculture (DA) and private-sector representatives met on July13, 2023 at the DA Central Office in Quezon City to discuss collaborative efforts that aim to resolve the supply crisis and revive the Philippine salt industry.
During the meeting a proposal was presented, which focused on the establishment of a national network of advanced salt production plants through investment and policy interventions.
