The Department of Agriculture (DA) High Value Crops Development Program (HVCDP) and the DA Central Luzon Regional Field Office (RFO 3) held a harvest festival for the completion of its Lowland Vegetable Technology Demonstration project in San Francisco, Lubao, Pampanga on August 11, 2022.
Sixty-six farmer-students, who completed the training, showcased the technology demonstration areas that they developed with the help of experts from participating seed companies namely, Allied Botanical Corporation, East West Seed Company, Ramgo International Corporation, and Enviro Scope Synergy Incorporated.
During the event, HVCDP National Program Director Gerald Glenn Panganiban led the visit to the model production areas, recognized the farmer-student graduates, and thanked the DA’s implementing partners for the project’s success.
The project started on April 21, 2022 in partnership with the Pampanga provincial and municipal local government units (LGUs), New Gen Agri-Farm Training Center, Inc., and the seed companies. ### (Photos by Alan Jay Jacalan, DA-AFID)
