Department of Agriculture (DA) Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr. highlighted the importance of creativity and innovation among public servants as he led the launching of the KaLIKHASAN: Art and Photo Exhibit and Music Festival at the DA Central Office, Quezon City on September 25.
The KaLIKHAsan, an initiative led by DA Administrative Service Director Atty. Roland Tulay with the support of the ARTipolo Group, Inc., aims to showcase the talents of officials and staff of the agriculture department. It also serves as a fundraising activity for DA employees in need.
The KaLIKHASAN: Art and Photo Exhibit and Music Festival will conclude with the free art workshop by the ARTipolo Group as well as a concert by homegrown band Black Luna on October 4. ### (Krystelle Ymari A. Vergara, DA-AFID)
