Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 160, declaring the last week of October as Food Safety Awareness Week, the Department of Agriculture (DA) kicked-off the week-long celebration at the DA Central Office in Quezon City.
With the theme “Pagkaing ligtas, masustansya at sapat, susi sa magandang kalusugan ng lahat”, the event highlights the efforts of the Department and all its concerned regulatory agencies in identifying and implementing strategies towards safe and quality food items for every Filipino.
