Agriculture Secretary Francisco P. Tiu Laurel announced on Tuesday (January 2, 2024) that the Department of Agriculture will lay-out the 2024 programs of the Department in the next ten days in line with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to increase the performance of the food production sector.

In his message during the first DA flag raising ceremony for the year, Sec. Tiu Laurel stressed that the country is depending on DA to sustain the supply of nutritious and affordable food for the nation.
