Agriculture Secretary Francisco P. Tiu Laurel, Jr. visited the Dairy Project site at the Baguio Animal Breeding and Research Center (BABRC) in Dontogan, Baguio City on January 26, 2024.
Guided by the officials of the BABRC and the DA-Cordillera Regional Field Office (RFO), the agri chief was oriented on the 94-hectare government facility that plays an important role in conducting technology demonstrations and research for the region’s crops and livestock industry.
The BABRC, which has been known as a dairy farm and an outlet for good quality dairy products and by-products, also serves as a production center for other livestock such as native pigs, chickens, and horses and crops such as coffee and citrus seedlings. ### (Photos by Alan Jay Jacalan, DA-AFID/Jay Morales, DA-OSEC)
