Retired agricultural extension worker – Mr. Gerardo Cordero – the proud owner of the GerNil’s Farm, believes that there is money in agriculture as long as proper farming practices are applied. Today, he applies multiple cropping, diversified farming, and contour farming system in his three farming sites. Cordero is an advocate of organic farming because he believes in chemical-free production, and it is relatively less expensive. He also shares the importance of attending various seminars or learning activities for the farmers to have the technical capability to process their own produce.
