Agriculture Secretary Manny F. Piñol welcomes Chile’s Ambassador to the Philippines Jose Miguel Capdevilla during a meeting at the Department of Agriculture (DA) Central Office on November 6, 2017. During the meeting, Piñol said that the Philippine government, thru DA, wishes to revisit the 2001  memorandum of understanding on agricultural cooperation with Chile, and ordered the immediate inspection and accreditation of Chilean meat suppliers. The agri chief also expressed interest in Chile’s fish meal which will be used as feeds for the local livestock. For his part, Amb.
