Twenty fishers will share the ten 21-foot fiberglass fishing boats delivered by the Department of Agriculture and the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) to the Island Garden City of Samal on July 13, 2018 during the Tapatan: Mamamayan at Gobyerno forum headed by Agriculture Secretary Manny Piñol. The boats, valued at P620,000 is part of the package of assistance distributed by BFAR to marginalized fishers to enable them to improve their lives and livelihood.
