Albay Provincial Agriculturist Cheryll O. Rebetta receives from Agriculture Secretary Manny Piñol the certificates of award for two Rice Processing Centers, each amounting to P6 million, which will be shared by members of the Maporong Farmers Association and Farmers Field School Palay Check/Palayaman Farmers’ Association. The RPCs will provide farmers access to milling and drying facilities as well as storage areas, which will improve efficiency of production and reduce post harvest losses in rice.
