Following the signing of Proclamation No. 469, the “Buwan ng Kalutong Pilipino” or “Filipino Food Month” (FFM) is celebrated on the month of April every year.
The annual initiative aims to raise appreciation, preserve, promote, and ensure that our rich culinary traditions and treasures are passed on to the future generations.
This year, FFM reflects the vibrancy of Filipino cooking and the strength of our young generation, under the theme “Kalutong Filipino, Lakas ng Kabataang Makabago”. (photos by Adonis Buhayan, DA-AFID)
