Department of Agriculture (DA) Undersecretary for Operations Engr. Roger V. Navarro, who represents Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel, Jr. in today’s/January 15, 2024 flag raising ceremony, highlights the importance of unity within the DA family. AS such, he urged everyone to work together harmoniously and present a unified front for the Department.
During the program, Usec. Navarro announced that the Department is set to revive activities at the Food Terminal Inc. (FTI), and he disclosed the government’s plans establish more cold storage facilities nationwide, to cater to food producing provinces: Benguet, Nueva Ecija, and Mindoro.
