In response to the call of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to assist micro rice retailers affected by the impact of Executive Order 39, hundreds of qualified beneficiaries identified by the Department of Agriculture and the Department of Trade and Industry received financial assistance under the Sustainable Livelihood Program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
