The Philippine Food Festival, held at the Centre Communautaire de Joli Bois in Brussels, Belgium featured some of the best high value crops from the country.
During the event, booth guests tasted calamansi products, fresh mangoes, mango puree, organic coconut products, freeze-dried tropical fruits (mango, dragon fruit, banana, pineapple, coconut), mango and coconut chews.
The organizers, who have started the festival in 2018 are confident that Filipino food products have a market in Europe, particularly Belgium, which is considered as a very good test market because of its land size and demographics.
The Philippine Food Festival serves as a venue where for old and new food products from the the Philippines are introduced and promoted, thereby enabling agribusinesses to build networks globally. ###
