Vice Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) H.E. Tran Thanh Nam paid a courtesy visit to the Department of Agriculture Central office in Quezon City on March 22, 2019. He was received by Undersecretary for Operations Ariel Cayanan. The courtesy visit served as a venue for more specific discussions on the recently conducted 9th meeting of the Philippines-Vietnam Joint Commission on Bilateral Cooperation last March 5-6, 2019 wherein a plan of action for implementation for the partnership for 2019-2024 were inked. Undersecretary Cayanan expressed DA’s intentions on exporting poultry products to Vietnam as well as other agreements that would benefit both countries like technology transfer and best practices adaptation among others. During the meeting, H.E.
